Goal

The main goal is to provide education and basic needs for the orphaned and destitute children in Third World countries and to ensure that they become self-sufficient after education.

The foundation tries to provide the necessary facilities so the children are able to develop and when they become adults are independent in society.

Accomplished goals

Computers

The Harense Smid from Oss and public primary school De Bolster from Sint-Michielsgestel donated desktop computers in 2007. These computers were transported through the foundation to Kenya.

The foundation wanted to provide these computers to small communities because they needed it the most.

Some of the computers are being used by children up to the age of 16 years old, for computer studies in a school in Rongo. This is a small village in the West of Kenya.
A number of computers also went to a girl school in Namanga, which is a small village in Southern Kenya.

Bunk beds

In the summer of 2008 two of the board members personally travelled to Kenya and Uganda.
During their stay in Uganda they visited the Life Mercy Orphanage in Kampala.
During this visit the foundation donated 18 bunk beds with mattresses. Now the orphans, who previously slept on the ground without mattresses, have a comfortable sleeping place.

School Fees for Kenyan Student

When the board members visited Kenya a student approached them whose parents recently died and asked if the foundation could help him in any way. He was in school, but had to drop-out due to lack of funds after his parents died.

The foundation has paid his school fees, uniform and books since 2008.
In 2010, this student passed his secondary school and at this moment is studying a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Banking. He will graduate in 2013.

The Language Institute Regina Coeli offered to become a special sponsor, after hearing the student’s case and took over the payment of the school fees until he graduates.

Land purchase

In the summer of 2010 two board members visited Uganda and bought a piece of land, where the school will be built.

The purchase of this land, secured phase 1 of the foundation’s main goal.
