Julius Pundo originally comes from Kenya. In his job as a tour leader he met many people in his country who needed help. The sadness and shortcoming of partially or totally orphaned children, especially moved him. He decided to help these children where he was able. This was on a small scale through the help of many friends whom he met on his travels.

On one of his travels, back in 2004, he met Lissa Brugmans. They became friends and decided later to work together. To ensure the help offered was organized and structured in an effective and efficient way, the decision was made to establish an official foundation. They therefore approached Claudette Albers-Reid and Marielle Strijbos to assist.

The Children’s Perfect Hope Foundation was founded on 3rd December 2007 in Berlicum.
